Are you ready for some flat track action? Houston Roller Derby’s season opener game is coming up on April 16 at brand-new venue Houston Indoor Sports, located at 221 Barren Springs Drive in Houston. Parking conditions at Houston Indoor Sports will be a major improvement over our previous venues. The venue offers a permanent sport court floor that’s made for roller derby and roller hockey games, as well as bleacher, floor and VIP seating.
Buy your tickets now as this bout has limited capacity and is very likely to sell out! Tickets cost $12 in advance or $15 at the door and are available from any HRD skater, from Montrose Skate Shop at 3202 White Oak Drive, or at www.houstonrollerderby.com . Tickets from our cancelled March bout will be accepted at the season opener. Children ages 5 and younger are admitted for free. Will-call tickets will be available for pick-up at 4 p.m. April 16 at HIS. Season ticket holders will be allowed into the venue at 5:45 p.m. Doors open to all other ticket-holders at 6 p.m.
Attendees are asked to not bring folding chairs. Chairs will be available for VIP ticket holders, and bleachers and floor seating will be available for general admission ticket holders. Beer and concessions will be available for purchase at games. Some concessions options will be cash-only.
